Although the genre of romance was not a regular part of my usual reading, I just had to take a perusal, given the Scottish locale and the vibrant nature of the author herself. I have been to Drumnadrochit and Castle Urquhart along with Inverness and many other spots on a three week tour many years ago with friends. The novel brought back many of those fond memories, climbing Ben Nevis, and rambling over sheep fields. The sweet romance story involving the main characters was entertaining and thrilling, sometimes both at once! Slainte!
Can I just say, WOW! I LOVE this book! I instantly fell in love with the characters...I sat on my patio and read the entire book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down! It REALLY makes me want to explore my Scottish heritage...visiting Scotland is a MUST! Highly recommend this wonderful book! Uummm...part 2 please! Lol!
